The Australia Naturist Federation has launched a new website…. I’m not sure on the general design and colour scheme myself, but the content and range of information is useful.
There are guidelines for naturism in Australia, and they explain the friction between the four ‘types’ of naturists: The Purists, The Gay Naturists, The Swinger Naturists, and the Middle-road Naturists!

Month Long Sex Party in Cairns!
The Cairns Post has reported that around 250 hedonistic nudists are going to descend on the White Cockatoo resort. The resort is located just north of Cairns, and the month of March 2009 is described as a “a totally clothing optional adults only month with almost no rules applicable!”
The resorts owner’s Tony and Lenore Fox say almost anything goes, and “provided it doesn’t constitute a breach of the Australian law, they (guests) are welcome to do anything.” No “nudie prudies” are allowed….
Most of the guests were from interstate or overseas, and apart from a few religious leaders, none of the locals were opposed to the event.
“Most people understand that with this level of business, they’ll get a slice of the pie,” he said.
“This is a half-million-dollar month for the town.
“The reality is, we’ve come up against zero opposition.”
Port Douglas Daintree Tourism executive officer Doug Ryan said the White Cockatoo’s promotion would help the industry during a soft season.
“If it’s legal and it works, do it,” he said.
And next year, Tony has plans to extend the party to 3 months of the year…. fantastic!
